Who This Is For

Commodity traders, importers and distributors whose cash is tied up in cargo at sea, in transit by land or in storage before it is sold. It fits businesses that already trade physical goods with known buyers or liquid markets and need funding from purchase to final payment.

What We Do And What You Receive

We review your trade flows, buyers, suppliers, shipping terms and insurance, then design a facility that follows the goods from loading to collection. Typical controls include bills of lading made out to the lender's order, cargo insurance naming the lender, inspection at loading, hedging where prices move, and collection accounts the lender controls. Once goods are stored, the facility can continue under warehouse controls or a collateral management agreement. You receive a facility concept with advance rate logic and controls, a lender-ready credit pack and coordination with banks, private credit funds and specialty lenders through term sheet review and closing.

Why FG Capital Advisors

FG Capital Advisors is an independent structured trade and commodity finance advisor. We are not a bank and do not issue instruments in our own name. We prepare the file, coordinate banks and other counterparties, and work through regulated partners where required. Every request is assessed before we accept a mandate. Where it fits our scope, we issue a written proposal that sets out the scope of work, responsibilities and commercial terms. Final terms are always set by the banks after their own diligence and credit approval.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is goods in transit finance?

It is funding secured on goods while they move between the seller and the buyer. The lender relies on control of the shipping documents, insurance and the sale proceeds rather than on your balance sheet alone.

Can one facility cover transit and storage?

Yes. Many facilities finance the goods in transit and then continue while they sit in a warehouse, as long as the lender keeps control in both stages.

Do you lend the money?

No. We structure the facility and place it with banks, private credit funds and specialty lenders. They make the credit decision.
