Fees

Engagement Fees

Engagement fees start at USD 5,000 and are set out in the formal proposal according to the scope of work, the complexity of the structure, and the number of counterparties involved. The fee funds the credit analysis, structuring, and lender preparation carried out before any financier reviews the transaction.

Third-party costs such as legal counsel, valuation, inspection, and registry fees are separate and paid directly by the client.

FAQ

Common Questions

What outcomes can we expect from an engagement?

A committee-ready credit package comprising the credit memorandum, financial model, and structured data room; a facility structure aligned with lender credit policy; and competing term sheets from financiers whose mandate fits the transaction, negotiated through conditions precedent to financial close.

Which problems do you resolve for clients?

Financing requests typically stall because security is not documented to lender standard, the borrowing base or debt capacity has not been sized, counterparty diligence is incomplete, or management lacks the bandwidth to run a lender process. We act as a fractional CFO for the transaction, managing lender correspondence, diligence requests, and documentation alongside your finance team.

How does FG Capital Advisors differ from a lender or a broker?

We are a boutique advisory firm, independent of any balance sheet. Senior advisers lead every mandate and compare banks, private credit funds, trade finance funds, and development finance institutions to secure terms that fit your cash flow profile. Read more about our trade finance advisory services.

Which trade and working capital structures do you arrange?

Borrowing base facilities, pre-export finance, prepayment, inventory and warehouse receipt finance, receivables discounting, and documentary letters of credit, each structured around title, control of goods, and a defined repayment path. See our structured trade and commodity finance practice.

How do you support carbon project developers?

From methodology selection and project design documentation through MRV design, validation and verification body coordination, and registry submission, to pre-issuance finance and offtake under emission reduction purchase agreements. See our carbon project development services.

What is the minimum transaction size and how are fees set?

We accept mandates from USD 1 million. Engagement fees start at USD 5,000 and are set out in a formal proposal reflecting scope, structural complexity, and the number of counterparties. For buy-side mandates, see our approach to acquisition financing.

Do you provide the financing?

No. FG Capital Advisors acts as adviser and arranger. Financiers make independent credit decisions following their own due diligence, and our role is to present the transaction so that decision can be made efficiently.
