Commodity Trade Finance Deal Packaging

Many physical commodity deals stall with financiers because the file is incomplete, not because the trade is bad. Contracts don't match, KYC is missing, logistics are vague, and nobody has shown how the lender gets repaid.

FG Capital Advisors prepares your transaction file before you approach any bank, trade finance fund, or commodity lender. You go to market with a complete, consistent package that a credit team can review straight away.

How It Works

  1. Initial review. You send the trade details, contracts, and company documents. We tell you what is missing and what a lender will challenge.
  2. Structuring. We define the trade flow, title transfer, control of goods, and repayment path, then size the facility to match.
  3. Document preparation. We draft and organise every item in the package and work with you, your counterparties, inspectors, and logistics providers to fill the gaps.
  4. Credit memorandum. We write the transaction summary and credit memo in the format trade finance lenders use.
  5. Handover or placement. You receive a complete data room to present yourself, or we approach suitable financiers for you as a separate mandate.

Who It Is For

Traders and Distributors

Physical traders in metals, energy, agricultural products, and fertilisers who need transactional or borrowing base finance.

Producers and Importers

Mines, refiners, processors, and importers seeking pre-export finance, prepayment, inventory finance, or LC lines.

We only work on genuine physical trades between identified counterparties. We don't prepare files for instrument trading programs, unverified sellers, or deals without real goods behind them. Learn more about our structured trade and commodity finance practice.

Start With a File Review

Send us the trade details and the documents you already have. We'll reply with a gap analysis, the scope of work, and a fixed fee.

Financiers make their own credit decisions. A complete package improves your chances and shortens review time, but funding is not guaranteed.
